Shipping & Returns
At Barefoot Baby we do our best to process your order with care and attention. Even so, it can happen that a product isn't entirely to your liking. Below you can read everything about shipping and returns.
Shipping
We ship orders within 1–3 business days, unless stated otherwise on the product. Because many items are handmade, delivery time may occasionally vary. If this is the case, we will always let you know.
Shipping costs:
Shipping costs are €4.95 per order.
On orders from €100 you get free shipping within the Netherlands.
Shipping methods:
We ship via PostNL or DHL.
As soon as your order has shipped, you'll receive a confirmation email with track & trace.
For orders outside the Netherlands, shipping costs are calculated automatically at checkout, depending on the destination country and the chosen carrier.
Returns
It can of course happen that your order isn't entirely to your liking. You can return your item(s) within 14 days of receipt.
How to return an item:
- Send an email to info@barefootbaby.nl with your order number and the products you want to return.
- After registering your return, you have 14 days to send the package back.
- You can return via PostNL or DHL.
Please note:
Sale or outlet items and products from the Barefoot Nurture Care line whose seal has been broken cannot be returned.
Return costs
The costs of returning an item are at your own expense.
You are free to choose your own carrier.
We recommend always sending your return with track & trace and keeping proof of shipment.
Once we receive your return, you'll get a confirmation by email.

We aim to process returns within 5 business days of receipt.
Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from your order up to 14 days after receipt, without giving a reason. To exercise this right, send us a clear statement by email or post.
After notifying us of the withdrawal, you have 14 days to send the products back. As soon as we receive the return, we will refund the purchase amount within 14 days.
In case of a full return, you will also get the original shipping costs refunded.
In case of a partial return, the outbound shipping costs will not be refunded.
Depreciation in value
Always return items undamaged and in their original condition.
If an item is returned visibly used, dirty, or incomplete, we reserve the right to deduct a depreciation fee.
Damaged on arrival?
Did you receive a damaged item? Please contact us as soon as possible via info@barefootbaby.nl and include photos of the product and packaging. We always look for a suitable solution together.
Exchanges
Exchanging items isn't possible at the moment.
Would you like a different size or a different product? Return the item and place a new order.
Complaints & warranty
All Barefoot Baby products are covered by the statutory warranty. This means a product must meet what you may reasonably expect from it.
